Find CTtransit Routes, Bus Times, Stops, Fares and Live Service Updates
CTtransit schedules cover local city routes, CTfastrak bus rapid transit, statewide express services, airport buses and downtown shuttles. The correct timetable depends on your route number, service region, direction and travel day.
Use this guide to identify the right division, search the official route directory, understand weekday and weekend times, compare fares, open system-map PDFs and check live service information before leaving.
Know the route number
Search the exact route number, route name or destination. A route branch may add a letter or different final stop.
Choose the correct direction
Match the destination sign on the approaching bus rather than relying only on “inbound” or “outbound.”
Select the service day
Weekday, Saturday, Sunday and holiday schedules can have different first trips, last trips and frequencies.
Check current alerts
Construction, weather, events and temporary stop closures can override the printed timetable.
Do not search “CT Transit schedule” and assume the first timetable is yours. Hartford, New Haven, Stamford, Waterbury, New Britain, Bristol, Meriden and Wallingford use different route families and service hubs.

Understanding CTtransit times
Weekday, Saturday, Sunday and Holiday Bus Times
CTtransit does not use one universal operating schedule. Every route has its own first trip, last trip, frequency and service-day pattern.
Weekday serviceRoute-specific
Usually provides the widest span and most frequent commuting service.
Saturday serviceMay be reduced
Some routes start later, finish earlier or operate less frequently.
Sunday serviceNot every route
Express and commuter routes may not operate on Sunday.
Holiday serviceCheck calendar
Selected holidays use Sunday schedules even when the holiday falls on a weekday.
