Utah Route 470

UTA 470 Bus Schedule: Ogden to Salt Lake City

Utah Transit Authority’s Route 470 is named Ogden–Salt Lake Intercity. It provides a bus connection along the northern Wasatch Front, including Ogden, Davis County and Salt Lake City.

Major August 16, 2026 route change

New Salt Lake City terminal: UTA extended Route 470 to Salt Lake Central Station starting August 16, 2026, improving multimodal connections. If you have an older schedule ending near State Street or downtown Salt Lake, open the updated route page before traveling.

Minnesota Valley Transit Authority

MVTA Route 470: Rosemount, Eagan and Downtown Minneapolis

MVTA Route 470 is a weekday express bus route between Rosemount, Eagan and downtown Minneapolis.

The official June 1, 2026 timetable includes Rosemount Transit Station, Blackhawk Park & Ride, Eagan Transit Station, I-35W & Lake Street Station and downtown Minneapolis stops.

Why an older MVTA 470 map may be wrong

During the 2026 summer service change, Route 470 was extended to Blackhawk Park & Ride and Rosemount Transit Station. MVTA directed Palomino Hills riders toward Blackhawk Park & Ride for this service.

Friday warning: MVTA publishes separate Monday–Thursday and Friday Route 470 tables. Some Friday trips are omitted, so do not assume Thursday’s schedule applies on Friday.

Saturday service

MetroLink Tulsa publishes a separate Saturday tab for Route 470. The retrieved Saturday timetable shows the same main Woodland Hills and Flying J timepoint pattern as the weekday listing. Nevertheless, check the Saturday tab for your trip instead of treating every weekday departure as automatically valid on weekends.

The official Route 470 page does not provide a Sunday timetable in the reviewed listing. Do not assume regular Sunday service without confirmation.

East Tulsa stop tips

Flying J / Skelly Drive Check the correct direction and the stop near 129th East Avenue before boarding.
Garnett Road The northbound and southbound stops may use different stop IDs on opposite sides of the street.
Woodland Hills Subhub Use the terminal stop for transfers and check the return departure before shopping or appointments.
Local shopping-trip tip: If you are traveling to Woodland Hills Mall, Walmart or other shops around the subhub, check both the time your bus arrives and the last practical return departure. Do not treat the mall’s opening hours as bus operating hours.
Connecticut Route 470

CTtransit 470: Waterbury to Naugatuck Bus Schedule

CTtransit describes Route 470 as Waterbury/Naugatuck, providing limited-stop service between Waterbury, Naugatuck Industrial Park and Naugatuck Green.

Its route directory states that Route 470 operates weekdays and does not provide regular Saturday or Sunday service.

Important stops and connections

Waterbury Green Central Waterbury transfer area.
South Main Street Corridor used for limited-stop service.
South Main Street Park & Ride Published route timepoint.
Great Hill Road / Prospect Naugatuck-area stop in the older timetable.
Bridge & Spring Published Naugatuck-area connection.
Naugatuck Green / Railroad Station area Check the active route map for the correct boarding point.

Historical timetable example

The official November 5, 2023 timetable showed trips beginning at Waterbury Green at 6:30 AM, reaching the Naugatuck railroad station area at 6:58 AM, with hourly departures during much of the day.

The opposite direction’s older timetable showed a 7:00 AM departure from the Naugatuck railroad station area, reaching Waterbury Green at 7:28 AM.

Do not use these as confirmed 2026 departures. They are clearly identified historical examples from CTtransit’s November 2023 schedule. Older 2017 and 2023 files remain accessible, so obtain the currently effective Route 470 schedule from CTtransit before leaving.

Why CTtransit Route 470 can be confusing

Some older Waterbury-area documents show 470X or reference route continuations. These may represent different historical timetables, limited-stop patterns or branches. Always match the effective date, route number and destination.

CTtransit also lists connections in the Naugatuck area with Routes 471, 472 and 473. Riders should check the connecting route’s timetable separately.

For Waterbury-area fare products, major stop locations, transfer planning and the full statewide network, our CTtransit Waterbury and Connecticut bus schedule guide provides additional official-source guidance.

Route 470 Service Alerts and Detours

UTA Check snow routing, road work and the correct Salt Lake Central stop.
MVTA Check commute-hour traffic, holiday reductions and Friday trip differences.
MetroLink Tulsa Check Garnett Road construction, stop relocations and myStop predictions.
CTtransit Check for newer Waterbury/Naugatuck route changes and current service notices.

A Route 470 schedule does not guarantee that a specific bus is operating normally right now. Always check official operator alerts before an important trip.

Accessibility and assistance

Route 470 Wheelchair Access and Reduced Fares

Transit accessibility depends on the operator, actual vehicle and physical boarding stop. A route may use accessible buses while a temporary stop or sidewalk is difficult to use.

Accessible buses Check official ramp, lift, low-floor bus, wheelchair securement and seating policies.
Accessible stops Verify sidewalks, curb access, pedestrian crossings and any temporary boarding changes.
Reduced fares Seniors, eligible disabled riders, youth, veterans and others may qualify for different agency programs.
Practical riding guide

What to Check Before Boarding the 470 Bus

  • Confirm that your bus operates in your city.
  • Check the full operator and route name.
  • Choose the correct service day.
  • Check the first and last departures.
  • Verify the destination sign and direction.
  • Find the correct stop ID or terminal bay.
  • Check fare and accepted payment.
  • Review live bus tracking if available.
  • Allow time for walking and transfers.
  • Check the return trip before leaving.
Arrival tip: Plan to reach most local bus stops five to ten minutes early. At an express-bus park-and-ride, unfamiliar terminal or transit interchange, allow additional time for parking, locating the platform and preparing payment.

What if Route 470 does not arrive?

Confirm that the service runs on your selected day, refresh the live arrival system, verify the physical stop and review agency alerts. If you are unsure whether a trip was canceled, contact the operator rather than relying on an old search result or timetable screenshot.
