Sun Tran Tucson: Find the Right Route, Time & Stop
Looking for a SunTran bus schedule? Sun Tran operates Tucson’s local fixed-route buses, while Sun Express provides commuter express routes. The current digital ride guide is effective August 16, 2026.
This guide gives you a practical route index, fare information, transit-center details, current service-change notes, live-arrival instructions, airport routes, holiday rules and official schedule links.
Sun Tran Schedules Are Route-Specific
There is no single first bus, last bus or travel time for the whole Sun Tran system. Each route has its own weekday, Saturday and Sunday schedule. The quickest way to get the correct time is to identify your route number, direction and stop, then check the official schedule or Sun Tran’s official Transit app.
Search by destination or route number.
Check the bus headsign and destination.
Use the stop number or intersection.
Compare scheduled and real-time information.
Sun Tran recommends at least 5 minutes.

Sun Tran’s current rider-guide page links the new Sun Tran, Sun Express and Sun Shuttle booklet effective August 16, 2026. Several local and express routes changed on that date, so older February 2026 or 2025 PDFs should not be used as the primary schedule for a current trip.
