Quick answer

How to Check an RT Bus Schedule

Open SacRT’s official Routes & Schedules tool, select Bus, choose your route, direction and travel day, then find your stop or major timepoint. For a bus arriving soon, switch to BusTracker because the printed timetable is scheduled service, not a guarantee of the vehicle’s exact arrival.

1. Route Select the correct SacRT route number.
2. Direction Match the destination shown on the bus headsign.
3. Stop Confirm the stop name or number on the bus-stop sign.
4. Live time Recheck BusTracker before walking to the stop.
Do not treat a timetable as a live countdown. Traffic, detours, construction, weather, equipment problems and trip cancellations can change actual arrival times.

How to Use SacRT BusTracker

SacRT provides real-time arrival and vehicle-location information for buses. BusTracker combines scheduled data with GPS information. SacRT states that estimated arrival information is available for buses approaching within the tracker’s prediction window.

Open BusTracker

Use the official SacRT tracker on your phone, tablet or computer.

2
Select route

Choose the same route number shown on your timetable.

3
Select direction

Match the destination or headsign of the bus you need.

4
Enter stop
