Intercity routes and destinations

Concord Coach Lines Routes: New Hampshire, Maine, Boston and NYC

Concord Coach Lines operates several route families. Not all routes begin in Concord, New Hampshire: for example, most Maine services run through Portland toward Boston rather than through the Concord transportation center.

Concord / Southern NH → Boston & Logan

Connects Concord and North Londonderry with Boston South Station and Logan Airport. Selected trips include a Salem stop.

Current schedule: October 25, 2026.

Northern NH → Concord → Boston

Links communities including Littleton, Franconia, Lincoln, Plymouth, Berlin, Gorham and North Conway with Concord and onward Boston service.

Some journeys require a bus change in Concord.

Concord / Nashua → New York City

Concord Coach Lines Plus connects Concord and Nashua with Midtown Manhattan. This service requires a reservation.

NYC stop: 373 East 42nd Street, between First and Second Avenues.

Portland / Maine → Boston & Logan

Separate service families connect Portland, Bangor, Augusta and Midcoast Maine communities with Boston and Logan Airport.

Do not assume these services board at Concord, NH.

Selected Northern New Hampshire Stops

Northern routes include these major communities, depending on the particular trip:

  • Berlin and Gorham
  • Pinkham Notch, Jackson and North Conway
  • Conway, West Ossipee and Center Harbor
  • Meredith and Tilton
  • Littleton, Franconia, Lincoln and Plymouth
  • Concord Transportation Center

Some northern trips have restricted operating days, flag stops or connections that require changing coaches. Select your actual origin and destination on the official schedule instead of treating this list as one continuous bus route.

Crosstown Monday–Friday 6:00 AM–6:30 PM system operating period Free
Weekend service Saturday/Sunday No regular local fixed-route service —

The hours above describe CAT’s system operating period, not the first or last departure at every stop. Use the individual timetable to find your precise bus time.

Where Can You Transfer Between CAT Routes?

CAT identifies the State House and Eagle Square stops in downtown Concord as key transfer locations. Routes may use different downtown stops depending on travel direction.

Useful connection to Concord Coach Lines The westbound Heights Route toward downtown serves the Concord Transportation Center on Stickney Avenue. For certain eastbound trips from downtown, service to the terminal must be requested in advance or with the driver. Call CAT at 603-225-1989 to check the current procedure.

For route-specific local timetables, transfer guidance, free fares and the current status of Concord’s former commuter connector, our Concord Area Transit CAT bus schedule and routes guide covers the three local lines in more detail.

2026 service change

Does the Concord–Laconia Connector Still Run?

No. Concord Area Transit announced that the Concord–Laconia Connector was permanently suspended effective January 30, 2026, citing ridership and funding limitations.

Do not use an older Connector timetable. Previous route maps and PDF guides may still show a Concord–Laconia commuter service via communities such as Tilton and Franklin. That CAT service is not operating under its former schedule.

If you need travel between Concord and Tilton, check the separate Concord Coach Lines northern New Hampshire services. These are paid intercity coaches, not a restoration of CAT’s suspended free commuter route.

Official suspension announcement: Concord Area Transit January 2026 announcement.

Concord Transportation Center

Where Is the Concord Bus Station?

Concord Coach Lines operates from the Concord Transportation Center at 30 Stickney Avenue, Concord, NH 03301.

This is the main Concord Coach Lines boarding terminal.

Published terminal hours 4:45 AM–8 PM

Daily ticket-counter/terminal operating hours.

Parking capacity 590

Published parking spaces, with free parking and a 21-day limit.

Important Parking Warning for 2026

Although the official terminal page advertises free parking and 590 spaces, Concord Coach Lines issued a September 2026 parking notice stating that parking was extremely limited during a busy period and recommending that passengers get dropped off instead.

Free parking does not guarantee an empty space. If your coach departure is early in the morning or you are leaving a car for several days, check the latest parking notices and arrange a backup drop-off or transportation plan.

How Early Should You Arrive?

Concord Coach Lines recommends reaching the terminal 15–30 minutes before departure and presenting your ticket and valid identification to the driver.

The 3:15 AM service departs before the published 4:45 AM terminal opening, so the agency advises purchasing tickets online in advance for that trip.

Fare date matters. The $21 Boston fare and $27 Logan fare come from the April 1, 2026 published tariff, not older 2025 fare quotes. Confirm the final price, eligibility and ticket conditions when purchasing.

Children’s Fares on Boston/Logan Service

Concord Coach Lines provides a child-ticket policy for ages 0–15:

  • One qualifying child aged 0–15 can ride free with one full-fare adult ticket.
  • Additional qualifying children may receive 50% off, subject to the published limit.
  • Children traveling alone have separate age, ticket and supervision requirements.
  • NYC Plus service uses different child-fare rules.

NYC service is different. The Concord Coach Lines Plus service to New York City is reservation-only. Do not treat a New York ticket as a flexible Boston coach ticket.

Airport and Boston terminal guide

Concord Bus to Logan Airport: Terminal Stops and South Station Gates

Concord Coach Lines serves Logan Airport terminals and Boston South Station, but you must confirm the exact stopping order for your selected journey.

Logan Airport

Concord Coach Lines uses scheduled-coach pickup and drop-off areas at Terminals A, B, C and E.

The current operator website has separate terminal-stop maps and notices for relocated doors.

Look for: the orange scheduled bus sign at the correct airport pickup area.

Boston South Station

Concord Coach Lines uses the new bus terminal concourse.

New Hampshire service: Gate 42.

Maine service: Gate 41.

The operator moved to these gates in November 2025.

How to Find Gate 42 at South Station

  1. Enter South Station and follow signs toward the bus terminal concourse.
  2. From the main rotunda escalator, turn left toward the new concourse.
  3. Proceed into the bus terminal area.
  4. Find Concord Coach Lines on the right side.
  5. Look for New Hampshire service at Gate 42.
  6. Check the destination board or ask terminal staff before boarding.

Logan Terminal Stop Changes in 2026

The operator published two important airport updates:

  • Terminal C: Starting August 24, 2026, the stop moved to outside Door C102.
  • Terminal B2: Starting September 22, 2026, the stop moved to Door B111 for an approximately 10-week period.
Always check the current airport stop map. Temporary terminal-door changes may end, move again or become permanent. Follow the operator’s latest airport notice and posted scheduled-bus signs, not an older terminal map.

Open the official Logan Airport and South Station stop guide.

Need Local Transportation After Arriving in Boston?

At South Station, the MBTA Red Line and Silver Line provide local connections. The subway, local bus and airport Silver Line schedules are operated by a separate transit agency and use their own fare rules.

Our MBTA bus schedules and Boston transit connection guide explains how to look up local bus routes, Silver Line service and current arrival information after getting off the Concord coach.

Intercity schedules can be affected by snow, ice, I-93 traffic, airport construction, terminal changes and holiday demand.

Thanksgiving and Christmas 2026

Concord Coach Lines has published separate Thanksgiving and Christmas 2026 schedule notices. Holiday departures may differ from normal daily service, especially on routes involving northern New Hampshire, Maine and school-related travel.

The operator also warns that its service can be affected by weather or operating conditions and recommends checking announcements before departure.

CAT Holiday Closures

CAT’s published rider guide lists no regular service on agency-recognized holidays including New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Presidents’ Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
