Quick answer

Where Should You Start?

If you already know your route number, open Lextran’s official route page and select the correct service-day schedule. If you only know where you are going, use the official myStop Trip Planner to enter your starting point and destination.

Know the route? Open the route schedule and check inbound/outbound times, route alerts and the current effective date.
Know only the destination? Use myStop Trip Planner with your origin, destination, date and desired departure or arrival time.
Leaving soon? Check real-time myStop information and active route alerts immediately before walking to your stop.
Do not rely only on an old timetable screenshot. Lextran can change route times, individual stops and detours. Route 10, Route 13, Route 22 and Route 52, for example, received service adjustments effective May 10, 2026.

How to Read Lextran Bus Times Correctly

Lextran route pages contain route-specific timepoints. A timetable does not necessarily list every stop. If your stop sits between two published timepoints, use myStop real-time information and allow a few minutes of buffer.

1
Choose route Match the route number and route name.
2
Choose direction Check inbound versus outbound or destination direction.
3
Select service day Weekday, Saturday, Sunday and special schedules may differ.
4
Find nearest timepoint Locate the official timepoint closest to your stop.
5
Recheck live Use myStop before leaving because actual arrival can change.

Example: Route 22 Mercer Road

Route 22’s current schedule is marked effective May 10, 2026. Its weekday outbound trips begin at the Transit Center at 6:20 a.m., with additional listed departures throughout the day. The exact time at Newtown, Nandino or Trade Street is several minutes later than the Transit Center departure.

Example Route 22 outbound timepoint flow
TC Transit Center
A Newtown @ Loudon
C Nandino @ Trotwood
D Trade Street
UPS Employment area
AMZ Amazon area
↺ Return trip
Arrival guidance: being at your stop about 5–10 minutes early is practical for an unfamiliar trip. Give yourself more time when transferring, traveling during construction or boarding at a stop you have not used before.

Scheduled Time vs Real-Time Lextran Arrival

Scheduled time is the planned timetable. Real-time arrival uses current transit data to estimate when the bus will reach your stop. Traffic, detours, maintenance and operational issues can make the live prediction different from the printed schedule.

1
Open myStop Use Lextran’s official real-time website.
2
Select route Choose the correct route number.
3
Select direction Make sure inbound/outbound matches your trip.
4
Select stop Use your real stop rather than only a nearby landmark.
5
Recheck Refresh shortly before leaving.

Useful myStop feature: the official myStop interface also supports trip planning and lets riders create arrival alerts using route, direction and stop information.

Current Lextran Alerts Can Change Your Stop

Lextran displays active alerts on its website and route pages. These can include detours, construction closures and temporary stops.

Route 3: Belleau Wood / Camelot Lextran’s current alert says Route 3 is skipping stops on Belleau Wood and Camelot Drive, with temporary stops on Wilson Downing Road.
Route 3: Stop 1230 closed Stop 1230 at Tates Creek and Dove Run is listed as closed due to construction, with a nearby inbound alternative at Stop 1231.
Other active alerts Lextran may also post route-specific detours, stop closures and temporary routing changes. Check the live alert page immediately before travel.

Lextran Night Routes

Lextran’s current route directory lists four dedicated night routes. These are not simply identical copies of every daytime route, so check the night route map and schedule separately.

Route 51 Night – Woodhill Drive
Route 52 Night – Georgetown Road
Route 58 Night – Versailles Road
Route 59 Night – Eastland
Return-trip tip: check the night route before leaving your destination. A daytime bus may not follow the same late-evening pattern, and the last useful connection can be earlier than expected.
Winter service

Lextran Snow Plan Can Change Stops and Streets

Lextran route pages include a Snow schedule/tab where applicable. When the snow plan is activated, some streets or stops may not receive normal service and the route page identifies an alternate pickup point.

Check the route page Open your individual route and choose its Snow information before traveling during winter weather.
Look for snowflake signs Lextran route guidance notes that certain bus-stop signs indicate whether that stop is served during a snow plan.
Stay visible Lextran advises riders not to wait inside snow drifts or piles where the bus operator cannot safely see or reach them.

For example, Route 22’s snow-plan information says Whipple Court and Trade Street are not serviced during an activated snow plan and identifies alternate pickup locations.
